Obituary: 

Joan Hoffman (Nee Horn), age 71 of Westminster, MD, formerly of Catonsville and Ellicott City, MD died Monday, December 6th, 2021, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born July 8, 1950, the daughter of Doris (Stortz) Horn and Micky Horn.

Joan was predeceased by the love of her life, Richard M. Hoffman Sr.

She was the devoted mother of Richard M. Hoffman Jr. and his wife Alayna. Affectionately known as Grandmother by all who came to see her, Joan leaves behind the most important things in her life, her grandchildren: Fox, Autumn, Abigail and Wyatt.

Joan is survived by her step- parents, Gene and Jerry Egnot; her sister, Jean Malcolm and husband Dan; her sister, Missy Zavalick and husband Alan; and her brother, Eddie Horn and wife Doris. Her brother Micky Horn, survived by his wife Peggy, passed last year.

She also leaves behind an amazing group of extended family members, a multitude of nieces and nephews, God-children, friends too numerous to name, and many others whose lives she touched so deeply.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday, December 9, 2021 , 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm .Where funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM

Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD.
