Obituary:

Suzanne Moore Ridgley, 77, of Carroll Lutheran Village (formerly of Winfield), passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Carroll County Hospital from congestive heart failure.
Born February 2, 1947, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. & Ruth Currens Moore. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Ridgley who died in September 2010; they were married 39 years.
She worked for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn as a claim examiner in the international division for 37 years before retiring in January 2003. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, watching TV, the computer, her cats, going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Amber and Ken Ridgley, grandchildren, Campbell Leanne and Brooks Warren Ridgley, all of Shrewsbury, PA. Sister, Tina, sister-in-law & brothers-in-law, Gail & Pat Boone, Ronnie Ridgley, David Kemp, Cis Moore Whittington, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and both her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Bill Moore, mother-in-law & father-in-law, Leona & Brooks Ridgley and sister-in-law, Connie Ridgley Kemp.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 10 AM.
Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
